Securing your account
Updated 25/Jun/2026
Account security
Go to Settings -> Security to manage how your account is protected.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Turn on MFA to require a one-time code from an authenticator app in addition to your password when you sign in. This is the single most effective way to keep your account safe.
- Open Settings -> Security.
- Start MFA setup and scan the code with your authenticator app.
- Enter the generated code to confirm and finish enrollment.
Extra confirmation for sensitive actions
For your protection, certain sensitive actions may ask you to re-enter your password even while you are signed in, for example changing your email, revoking an API key, cancelling your subscription, or deleting your account. This step-up check keeps a logged-in session from being misused. If you have confirmed recently, you will not be asked again for a short while.
Changing your email or password
You can update your email and password from the Security area. Changing your email starts a confirmation flow to verify the new address.
